Designed to prepare nurses to become adult nurse practitioners, this 46-credit seven-semester program provides students with in-depth knowledge of the aging process and helps them develop the clinical skills necessary to address the specific health needs of older clients. Our nurse practitioner graduates not only become expert health care providers but also develop the leadership ability to operate effectively in today’s multidisciplinary health care environment. Combining internet-based learning for the academic portions of the program alongside clinical practice components arranged at convenient locations, the M.S.N. Nurse Practitioner will appeal to ambitious working nurses who may be managing a number of work and home priorities.
