Students have the option of earning a four-year B.S. degree in a variety of areas, but only two years worth of pre-pharmacy coursework is necessary before entering the Pharm.D. program.     Accreditation Information: New England Association of Schools and Colleges, received pre-candidate accreditation from American Council on Pharmacy Education  # Of Credits Required: 137  Time To Degree: 4 Years    Previous Degrees Previous degrees are not required, however, students must have completed at least two years of pre-pharmacy instruction at the undergraduate level. Students may complete the prerequisites at Husson or any other accredited college or university that offers equivalent coursework.  Pre-Requisite Courses The following pre-requisites (credits) must be completed with a grade of C or better. Chemistry, biology and math courses taken more than five (5) years old are not routinely accepted for meeting pre-pharmacy requirements and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. General Chemistry with labs (8) Organic Chemistry with labs (8) General Biology with labs (8) Human Anatomy and Physiology with labs (8) Calculus I (4) Statistics (3) English Composition (6) Speech (3) Economics (Macro  International Student Requirements International transcripts must be evaluated by one of the members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (http://www.naces.org/members.htm). The student is responsible for all associated fees and must select an evaluation service which can be used for university admission, transfer credit and professional licensure. Canadian applicants are not required to submit their transcripts to this service.
