MS with Family Nurse Practitioner Specialization

The online Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Clinical Specialization prepares you for advanced practice in family primary care nursing. As an FNP, you will have advanced diagnostic reasoning and clinical problem-solving skills. You may enter this program with either a ASN or BSN degree.

          How Online Degrees Work:

         For the onilne courses you take during the first 2 semesters of your program (full-time curriculum), you will have the opportunity to:

  • set your own schedule by reviewing recorded classroom lectures and discussions that are accessed through the Internet at any time.
  • interact with your instructors and other students using Web-conferencing technology.
  • see your instructors' materials as though you were sitting in a classroom on the UND campus.

          Two On-Campus Visits

         During the 1st and 3rd semesters (full-time curriculum) of your program, you will be required to come to the UND campus in Grand Forks, North Dakota, for 1 week as part of your required course work.

          Tuition

         Regardless of where you live, you will pay in-state resident tuition for all online courses.
