It requires three years of full-time graduate study and the completion of sixty semester credit hours. In addition to academic and professional studies, internships under professional conditions with the Pittsburgh Playhouse Repertory Company are integral parts of the program. The Conservatory of Performing Arts at Point Park University is one of the very few programs in the country that offer a graduate program in the context of a resident, professional, union theatre company and theatre operation. All graduate students become members of the Pittsburgh Playhouse Repertory Company.
