Now, finally, there’s a graduate program in advertising designed for all the different people and issues you actually find in advertising. What makes this program strong is the intelligent combination of four practice areas -- Account Planning, Account Management, Creative and New Media -- combined with overarching themes of globalization, responsibility and practical experience. A holistic approach. The key to the Master of Arts in Advertising at SMU isn’t in the individual courses or even the program of study. It’s the way the program incorporates theory and practice from every major discipline and filters it through the lens of social and corporate responsibility. The rules have changed. Technology has shrunk the planet. New economies are emerging by the minute. And companies are more global, mobile, social and responsible.
