The program integrates social, cultural, and environmental knowledge and skills to address the challenges of the 21st century. Students in this program want to make a difference. Our program offers students a focused, yet flexible, interdisciplinary understanding of environmental issues, the problems that underlie them, and the paths that lead to sustainable communities. The program facilitates student engagement with the study of fundamental cultural, social, political, technical, and economic forces that drive environmental degradation as well as the emerging approaches that can foster sustainability.     Accreditation Information: Middle States Commission on Higher Education  # Of Credits Required:   Time To Degree:     Previous Degrees An earned bachelor's degree from a recognized institution, with at least a "B" average for junior and senior years of the baccalaureate program... Must demonstrate adequate preparation to engage in graduate studies in Environmental Studies.  Pre-Requisite Courses Entering students are expected to have successfully completed at least one undergraduate course in each of three areas: environmental policy or environmental communication; general ecology; and environmental science. Students without these prerequisites may make them up during their first year but the credits will not count toward degree requirements.  International Student Requirements * Evidence of proficiency in the English language.
