During the 1920's, Mansfield University was the first Pennsylvania College to offer a certificate for music supervisors, and since that time MU has continued the long tradition of training exemplary music educators. The music education program is designed for practicing music educators as well as students in residence. Courses are offered in the evening, on-line and through summer study to allow teachers flexibility in scheduling. The current music education faculty offers varied and extensive experience in all areas.
