The Women's and Gender Studies Graduate Certificate is of interest to: -Master's level students considering a Ph.D. level program at this or another university -Master's level students who can receive cross-education in Sociology, Psychology, History, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Anthropology, Archaeology, etc., with a focus on Women's and Gender Studies and receive credit in either, both or several disciplines -"Non-Degree" seeking students who would like to experience graduate classes before deciding on a graduate program -Secondary school teachers who would like training in this interdisciplinary field -Service professionals who would like to acquire credentials in Women's and Gender Studies The Graduate Certificate program requires a total of 15 hours of coursework chosen from the courses listed below. Courses can be completed in any order, although it is recommended that you take WST 600 as early as possible. Because of the interdisciplinary nature of Women's and Gender Studies, no more than six credit hours (two courses) can be taken in a single discipline. Only one 400 level course can be used toward the completion of the certificate.
