          How Online Degrees Work

         As an online student, you have the opportunity to:

  • set your own schedule by reviewing recorded classroom lectures and discussions that are accessed through the Internet at any time.
  • interact with your instructors and other students using Web-conferencing technology.
  • see your instructors' materials as though you were sitting in a classroom on the UND campus.

          Local Clinical Practicum Experiences

         You will complete the clinical practicum courses in locations as close to your home community as possible. You will need to work with a qualified nurse preceptor (supervisor/monitor) who focuses in population-focused care.

         Sites for clinical experiences will vary, but may include:

  • local and state health departments
  • schools
  • shelters
  • non-profit agencies
  • other community-based organization

          Tuition

         Regardless of where you live, you will pay in-state resident tuition for all online courses.
