Through online courses, you will explore the:

  • use of empirical theory and techniques to make policy choices.
  • initiation, formulation, adoption, implementation, and evaluation of American public policy.
  • contemporary structural and policy problems of state and local governments.
  • structures, processes, procedures, and positions of the legislative and executive offices in government.

How Online Certificates Work

As an online student in "live" Web class sessions, you will:

  • participate in class sessions that are conducted "live" over the Internet. Typically, online classes are held 1 evening per week for 3 hours.
  • interact with your instructors and other students using Web-conferencing technology.
  • see your instructors' material as though you were sitting in a classroom on the UND campus.

In this manner, the class lectures, discussion, and collaboration are conducted in a very similar fashion to traditional on-campus classes.

          Tuition

Regardless of where you live, you will pay in-state resident tuition for all online courses.
