The Occupational Therapy Department offers a five and a half-year entry-level Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree; two years pre-professional coursework and three and a half years of the professional curriculum Occupational Therapy as a profession is based on the belief that purposeful activity (occupation), including its interpersonal and environmental components, may be used to prevent and mediate dysfunction and elicit maximum adaptation.
