The Nurse Anesthesia Specialization is a 24-month program. Upon graduation, students are eligible to sit for the national certification exam leading to licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Admission is limited to 12 students each year. Students are required to have at least one year of critical care nursing experience, must complete a pre-requisite biochemistry and college algebra (or higher level) math course, and must complete a successful interview with the Graduate Nursing Admissions Committee. October 1st is the deadline for completed applications to be submitted to the Graduate School for consideration for fall admission.
