In addition to nine hours addressing intelligence measurement, quantitative methods, and research design, students are required to complete: social cognition, theories of learning or cognition, behavior modification, neuropsychology, and a six-hour thesis. Residual hours are electives, although students are strongly encouraged to consider using these hours for interdisciplinary research with one or more professors. Research projects including thesis studies are collaborative efforts driven by student interest and faculty expertise.
