Master's of Taxation: the master of taxation program is designed to help you develop an understanding of the essential elements of the Internal Revenue Service code and regulations; the program provides both a practical and conceptual understanding, as well as the necessary skills and judgment required to apply the IRS code in actual situations; 36 credit hours; 18-month program; program starts in October, January, April, and July; online program format combines synchronous communication (chatrooms) and asynchronous communication (email, bulletin boards, and discussion forums)     Accreditation Information: Nova Southeastern University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate's, bachelor's, master's, educational specialist, and doctoral degrees.  # Of Credits Required:   Time To Degree:     Previous Degrees Applicants with an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited institution will be considered for admission with a GPA of 2.5 or greater overall (or in the last 60 hours) on a 4.0 scale.
