Rehabilitation counseling is a specialization within the counseling profession that emphasizes services to individuals with physical, cognitive, and psychiatric disabilities. Rehabilitation counselors help people with disabilities reach their social, personal, and vocational potential. The program is accredited by the Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE) and graduates of this master's program are eligible for national certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). In addition to online courses, students will attend videoconferences in Tuscaloosa, Gadsden, Birmingham, Huntsville, or Montgomery.
