We regard the screen as a point of intersection where various industries, audiences, and modes of representation converge and from which a range of ideologies, identities, and cultural formations emerge. Students must complete a total of 39 credit hours of coursework toward the doctoral degree, at least 18 of which must be completed on the Ann Arbor campus.
