The program in cellular and molecular neurobiology encompasses areas of graduate study that further the understanding of the nervous system. Ongoing research provides insights into nervous system development and plasticity, regeneration and repair following neural damage, the basis of neural disease, and behavior. Specialized courses are offered in cellular and molecular, developmental, and systems neuroscience. The program is flexible, allowing students to customize much of their coursework to their research interests and goals.
