Practicing engineers in a variety of positions û manufacturing, design, research and development, management, and plant engineering û need a firm grounding in the various aspects of environmental engineering in order to effectively perform on the job. Water, air and waste treatment quality, along with OSHA issues and environmental laws, are all of interest.
