On Campus

In today's industrial world, environmental issues permeate and affect virtually every technical and business decision. Practicing engineers in a variety of positions û manufacturing, design, research and development, management, and plant engineering û need a firm grounding in the various aspects of environmental engineering in order to effectively perform on the job. Water, air and waste treatment quality, along with OSHA issues and environmental laws, are all of interest. A graduate degree in environmental engineering will build upon your already solid foundation in engineering principles and could include topics in areas such as waste minimization, environmental law, air pollution control, solid and hazardous waste management, biological, water and wastewater treatment, plant safety and OSHA issues, and environmental risk assessment.
