The Rehabilitation Counseling Program at SUNY-Buffalo typically requires four semesters (about two years) of course work and clinical training and leads to a Master of Science (MS) degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. The program is very applied in that the counseling skills and rehabilitation techniques learned in the classroom are practiced and evaluated in the field at rehabilitation agencies with various client populations.
