The Social Psychology Program prepares students for university teaching and research positions and for professional research, program evaluation, and consultative work with government agencies and firms in the private sector. Our program provides students with a broad knowledge of general psychology and develops their skills in research design and statistical analysis. Students gain experience through laboratory and field research at local civic, industrial, and health organizations. Most students accepted into the Ph.D. program in psychology receive full financial aid.
