The Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience Program offers graduate training in neuroscience, including functional cognitive imaging, neural physiology, behavioral pharmacology, and neurobehavioral teratology. Training is provided in each of these areas via courses, advanced seminars, and intensive participation in research. Research experience is provided through one-to-one working relationships between students and faculty members in state-of-the-art laboratories. The primary goal of our program is for each student to develop the factual, conceptual, and methodological knowledge necessary for advanced basic research either in academic or nonacademic settings. Most students accepted into the Ph.D. program in psychology receive full financial aid.
