M.U.P. - Master of Urban Planning

The Department of Urban Planning at the University at Buffalo offers a fully accredited Master of Urban Planning (M.U.P) degree, the traditional professional degree in urban and regional planning. Within the M.U.P. degree, students may earn Certificates of Specialization in any of the following areas: Economic Development Planning, Environmental and Physical Planning, Information Technology and GIS, Urban Design, and Urban Management. In addition, the department offers a dual degree option leading to a combined Master of Urban Planning/Master of Architecture (M.U.P./M.Arch.).
