A Master of Arts degree in English from Seton Hall provides the basis for a wide range of career and professional choices: preparation for pursuing a doctoral degree in literature, for professional degrees in law or business, as well as for careers in secondary education, publishing, and professional writing. The diversity of our students goals and interests is accommodated through our Hub and Spoke Program, which allows students, after completing a "Hub" of 12 credits of required courses, to pursue one of two "Spokes",18 credits in Literature for pre-doctoral students or 18 credits in Writing for pre-professional students. Both spokes accommodate students who wish to teach on the college or secondary level.
