This program focuses on human development throughout the life span, with primary emphasis upon infancy and childhood. Special strengths in the program include cognitive, language, and social development, and the development of social cognition. A multidisciplinary approach affords students an opportunity to interrelate conceptual, methodological, and practical information from a combined instructional, developmental,and school psychology knowledge base. Program flexibility allows for individualized programs of study to be developed in cooperation with faculty.
