These training programs prepare graduates for positions in federal agencies, medical and academic institutions, or private industry. Two types of master's degrees are available. For the non-thesis option, the student takes a minimum of 33 semester hours of course work and completes a Master's project. The thesis master's degree program consists of a minimum of 24 semester hours of courses and a research-based thesis. The M.S. program in occupational health is ABET accredited.
