On Campus

We typically have about 65 graduate students. Over the last decade we have graduated proportionally more women Ph.D.'s than most institutions in the country. Our program is large enough to be quite diverse yet small enough so that every student receives a great deal of individual attention. Graduate students spend about five to six years (on average) in their graduate studies, first taking courses and then doing individual research projects for their doctorate. A two-year masters program is also available for those who choose not to pursue the doctorate.
