CED and Pennsylvania certification only. An individualized Master of Education degree programs graduate students who already hold certification in teaching the deaf and hard of hearing. The program thus accommodates students who have completed a bachelor's degree in areas such as education, speech and hearing, psychology, and related fields and who want to be trained as teachers of the deaf.
