Conservation biology, ecosystem management, landscape ecology, conservation behavior, environmental policy and economics, and environmental justice are recognized strengths of the School. The landscape architecture curriculum draws from and contributes to these strengths. Landscape architecture instruction is based on a substantive foundation of ecology and culture.
