Master's
M.A. - Publishing and Writing
On Campus

The Publishing and Writing program allows students to focus on book, magazine, and electronic media, while also offering a wealth of literature courses that supplement and build on prior study. Our faculty are publishing professionals. Their expertise offers students both a solid foundation in traditional publishing as well as exposure to current market trends, including electronic publishing. The curriculum blends an overview of the publishing industry with exposure to copy and line editing, acquisition skills, publicity and marketing, web design and publishing software, and professional ethics. This program also nurtures students' creative voices through writing workshops.
