Spartan Health Sciences University, School of Medicine, offers a 36 calendar month (four academic year) program leading to the Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.), and is taught on a trimester (four months) schedule. The curriculum of the University's School of Medicine encompasses a comprehensive course of basic medical sciences (BMS) and clinical sciences (CS) that last three calendar years. The trimester periods start in January, May, and September; therefore, a student may elect to enter at the beginning of any of the three trimesters.
