Possible areas of study include war, torture, and terrorism; genocide; Holocaust studies; post-traumatic distress disorder; human rights; hatred; school violence; intimate abuse; illness; natural disasters; memory, remembrance, and memorialization; healing and reconciliation; and representations of violence and trauma. Building on the strong foundation of a core curriculum, students pursue an individualized course of study.
