The End-of-Life Care Programs will prepare you to enter or advance in the interdisciplinary, challenging, and rewarding field of end-of-life care. Of the almost 3 million deaths occurring annually in the United States, the vast majority of these deaths will involve the services of a wide range of professionals including nurses, physicians, physician assistants, social workers, counselors, chaplains and funeral directors. The programs were developed to offer core courses in the end-of-care concentration that provide insights, skills and expertise in three broad areas of study; grief and bereavement, the business of dying and spiritual care.
