Advertisers have just a few seconds to get their message across, and the Advertising program at the Academy trains students to communicate the message in an instant via a broad range of channels. Whether it’s sharp, concise copy, guerrilla marketing or account planning, our graduates learn the tools to create a winning campaign. School of Advertising has won 30 medals at the local 2008 Addy Awards, including Best of Show. Our Advertising students have won more awards than any other school, including most recently two Print Clios, one TV Clio, one Print Andy, three S.F. Show Silvers, one S.F. Show Merit, and one Kodak/CMYK National TV Commercial winner. Established in 1929, the university offers accredited AA, BFA, BA, M.Arch, MA and MFA programs in 14 areas of art and design emphasis.
