The program is designed for students, at a distance and on campus, who wish to prepare for or further their careers in agriculture without having to relocate or interfere with their current employment. A maximum number of electives is permitted to enable the student to concentrate in one or two fields, or otherwise tailor the curriculum to fit particular needs. Students may choose between a thesis or non-thesis program. If it is a non-thesis program the student is required to complete 6 credits of practicums instead of a thesis.
