The Master of Occupational Health & Safety prepares graduates for work in the preparation and implementation of occupational health and safety programs at the workplace. In many cases, students will be in positions of managerial or professional responsibility, through which they are required to develop policies and strategies in response to the occupational health and safety needs of their organisations. As well as extending students' skills in raising awareness of occupational health and safety issues and dealing with risks and dangers in the workplace, the program also aims to encourage the desire to promote the health, safety and well-being of others and to help students develop a problem-solving approach to occupational health and safety issues.
