The Master of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communications is designed to build or enhance professional knowledge, skills, and leadership in journalism and mass communications. The interdisciplinary curriculum combines up-to-date knowledge with practicle application and individualized experience. Master's degree students are expected to select advertising, broadcasting, or news-editorial as an area of emphasis. Student theses and projects are completed under the guidance of faculty in that area of emphasis.
