Global Ethics aims at finding basic values which could unite people representing different cultures. The United Nations declared the year 2001 as one of dialogue among civilizations. When people representing different cultures and religions learn, by means of dialogue, to understand each other better, universal peace is greatly enhanced. This dialogue must be continued in the third millennium. Students may study the Global Ethics course (8 cr) at their own pace, completing assignments and corresponding with the instructor and the tutor via e-mail, fax or letter.
