Because of the unique mix of mentorship, on-site residential programs, and internet access, the Saybrook model permits close contact between faculty and learners, and among learners. Programs are structured to meet the personal and professional needs of adult learners and persons not able or willing to travel to fixed classrooms. Saybrookfs internationally renowned faculty work with adult learners in close mentorship relationships. While much of the student's intellectual work is done independently, the relationship between faculty and student allows for support, commentary and analysis that typically exceed that which occurs in traditional classroom situations. The format works especially well for mature students who wish to tailor the pace, the scope, and the process of education to their individual requirements. We also offer a Multi-Year Scholarship.
