To continue to meet this challenge, we must be able to manufacture reliable, state-of-the-art products efficiently. The graduate program in Microelectronics Manufacturing Engineering is designed to respond to this challenge and prepare students for careers in the high-technology environment within the semiconductor industry. This interdisciplinary program, developed with assistance from the Semiconductor Research Corporation and industry, consists of seven required courses. Three courses are designed to cover basic concepts in semiconductor materials, semiconductor electronics, and statistics. Four courses are drawn from the microelectronics manufacturing core. Students also select three electives.
