The College of Communication and the Arts at Regent University announces the creation of a proposed new degree program, an online Master of Arts in Computer-Mediated Communication to begin in Fall 2000.

The program features a common foundation of courses that combines theory and practice in areas including communication fundamentals, dynamics of computer mediated communication, social implications of the new media, virtual small groups, and the future of online communication. In addition, students have the option to select one of five concentrations: business, communication arts, divinity, education, and law.
