The Engineering master's degree program is offered by the College of Engineering at K-State through distance education in chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, and software engineering as well as engineering management. The programs are designed for working professionals who have already obtained a bachelor's degree in an engineering or computer science field.

This master's program provides students with a strong skill base and prepare them for a wide range of career opportunities in various specialized areas of engineering.

To complete the program, students must complete 33 credit hours of coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0. No research or thesis is required for program completion. However, some degree programs require a visit to the K-State campus after all coursework is completed to conduct the final exam with the student's graduate committee.
