Visual and Performing Arts for Educators Certificate
On Campus

The Visual and Performing Arts for Educators Certificate provides participants with an in-depth examination of the arts and the role they play in educational environments. The program is designed for K-12 teachers who want to learn how to integrate the visual and performing arts into their existing curriculum and for improving academic achievement through the arts. Educators will also be able to learn how to assist their students in becoming more aware of careers in the arts that are available to them and examine career pathways available in theater, dance, music and visual arts. Both elementary and secondary educators can participate in the program to learn how to effectively integrate the arts into content areas.
