On Campus

The occupational therapy educational program at the University of New England is an entry-level master's program that takes five years to complete. Following the initial two years of study, a student may be accepted into the professional component of the program if the student meets the acceptance requirements. The professional curriculum combines classroom and fieldwork learning. UNE accepts qualified transfer students. Students wanting to enter the occupational therapy program (including COTAs and internal/external transfer students) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Students with a bachelor's degree in another field will not be held responsible for the UNE core curriculum courses. Those who transfer in with two years of course work will not be responsible for the first two years of the core curriculum.
