Through this mission, the faculty seek to produce physical therapy practitioners who will help meet identified health, education, and research needs in Arkansas as well as in other states. The professional curriculum in physical therapy assists students in developing the general means to deal flexibly and effectively with the wide range of responsibilities they will encounter in professional practice. Therefore, the faculty believe that emphasis should be placed on using knowledge, critical analysis, and creative thinking to solve new and varied problems. Students will develop both the ability and the desire to pursue self-directed study after graduation.
