Completion of the certificate program will give students the ability to use GIS more fully in their fields of interest, enhance their existing job performance, and increase employability.The GIS certificate program focuses on spatial analysis, GIS-related applications, and the applied needs of employers. This applied focus, coupled with distance learning, is practical rather than theoretical.
