The MGSM was founded in 2006 at Robert Morris University’s Chicago Campus. Within two years, the MGSM expanded offerings to seven additional locations throughout Illinois to meet increasing student demand. The MGMS’s growth is attributed to its affordable tuition and opportunities for growth and leadership development. Students at MGSM enjoy dynamic faculty members, one-to-one advising, and flexible scheduling. MGSM offers multiple delivery options for earning an MBA or MIS. The MBA has five concentrations: Human Resources, Accounting, Accounting/Finance, Management and Management/Finance. Students may enroll in the full-time day, evening, weekend, MidDay MBA program or a combination of the above. Full-time day students can earn an MBA in about 10 months. The Master’s Advantage program allows students to earn both MBA and MIS degrees by taking only 6-8 additional courses. The MidDay MBA program gives working professionals who are employed in the Chicago loop area the opportunity to take classes which meet twice a week during their lunch break.     Accreditation Information: Robert Morris University is a private not-for-profit, associate, baccalaureate, and master's degree-granting institution, accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.  # Of Credits Required: 56  Time To Degree: under 2 yrs if full time    Previous Degrees Students with a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution who possess a grade point average of 3.25 or higher are automatically admitted into the program. All others must demonstrate that they are academically able to undertake graduate-level coursework. Applications will be evaluated by our Graduate Admissions Council on criteria that may include: * Undergraduate coursework and official transcript * GPA/grades * Resume * Letters of recommendation  Pre-Requisite Courses Students who did not earn their bachelor degree in Business or who did not get a grade of 'B' or better in the areas of Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics may be required to take one or two "foundation" classes in order to prepare them for graduate level work in these areas. These classes are graduate level classes, but do not count towards graduation.  International Student Requirements * Admissions application ($100 application fee, non-refundable) * TOEFL documentation with a minimum score of 500 paper based, 173 computer based, or 61 internet based (the TOEFL code for Robert Morris College is 1670). * An evaluation of your high school and any college transcripts stating you have the equivalent of a U.S. bachelors degree. An official evaluation may be obtained through WES, ECE or AACRAO. * Copy of valid passport * Copy of current I-20, if applicable.
