Over the course of its 70 year history, the Fels program has provided students with a combination of management and political skills that has proven to be an effective formula. As a result, Fels graduates hold leadership positions at all levels of government, in nonprofit organizations, and in related private firms. Fels offers a Master of Governmental Administration (MGA) that is comparable to a Master of Public Administration. It also offers 5-course graduate level certificates in Public Finance; Nonprofit Administration; Politics; and Economic Development and Growth.
