The MA in History offers students in-depth knowledge of key facets of the human community in the United States and globally. Courses examine the lives of ordinary women and men as well as heroes and leaders. Classes meet in the evening, one night per week during the fall and spring semesters, and two nights a week during the summer. Students take 10 content courses that cover a range of topics in United States and World History, along with two one-credit research methods courses. The program is slightly accelerated in that each course meets for ten weeks from 6-10 p.m.
