The graduate program in Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB) at Dartmouth [Dartmouth College], comprised of the Programs in Genetics, Biochemistry, Biology, and Microbiology/ Immunology, encompasses research in the areas of genetics, developmental biology, neurobiology, microbial pathogenesis, immunology, biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biology. The MCB graduate program seeks to train highly qualified students for productive careers in research and teaching through the completion of a Ph.D. degree. A genuinely interdepartmental consortium, MCB faculty come from the Departments of Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Medicine, Physiology, and Pathology at Dartmouth Medical School [Dartmouth Medical School] , the Departments of Biological Sciences and Chemistry at Dartmouth College, and the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth.
