A rigorous professional curriculum and renowned graduate thesis process, in both written and design formats, prepare graduates for entry into the architectural profession and its related disciplines from a position of strength and vitality. Across the curriculum students critically assess their world, position themselves within it, and engage the forces they see as shaping it as they offer ideas and give form to their design solutions. Numerous opportunities to engage in research, field study, and off-campus experiences expand and apply student knowledge beyond the studio and classroom. As part of the application process, students are considered for significant financial support. Competitively awarded, merit-based graduate assistantships provide tuition remission, a stipend, and support for summer coursework.
